To insure better service to you, please read the following store policies:
1. Please be home the entire day on which your delivery is scheduled. Our AM deliveries are between 9:00-12:00, our PM deliveries are between 2:00-5:00. It is impossible to adhere to a specific time as routing may vary, traffic problems and road conditions may cause delays.
2. If for any reason you will not be home please call us at 360-426-4702 before your delivery date.
There will be an additional delivery charge, if we attempt to deliver and no one is home.
Warranties, exchange, cancellation and general information:
A. Full exchange or refund (except for delivery and pick-up charges, and fabric/leather extended warranties) is available within the first seven days of purchase. If an item/s are returned or refunded, Olsen Furniture MUST pick-up the item/s (there is a $65.00 pick-up fee). The item will be picked up when convenient for Olsen Furniture. Unless item was a special order, special orders are non-refundable.
B. Mattresses exhanges/rufunds, 30 night sleep guarantee.
Olsen Furniture has a 30 night sleep guarantee on all mattress sets over $499.88. You MUST buy a new mattress pad (Prices vary per size) from Olsen Furniture to insure that you will have 30 days. All other mattress sales are final. Please note; most mattresses (including Tempur-Pedic) require a 10-14 day “break in” period to adjust to your body.
C. Any exchanges or refunds beyond seven days are at the discretion of the owner of Olsen Furniture. The item/s are subject to a minimum 50% restocking fee, plus delivery and return fees at our current rates. Items that have been in a smoking home, or homes with any type of pets are not refundable. If an exchange or refund is granted, the item will be inspected and would have to be in “like-new” condition.
D. Items not subject to returns or exchanges:
1. Special order merchandise
2. Clearance merchandise
3. Fabric and/or leather treatment and/or other purchased warranties.
4. Any merchandise delivered for 7 days or more.
5. Lay-a-away items, and any payments made on lay-a-way items.
Delivery
Olsen furniture’s delivery charges are as follows:
In town: $45
Out of town $65
Out of county varies $75.00-$200.00
*If a customer would like to pick up the item/s they will do so at their own risk. Olsen Furniture is not allowed to help in securing the item/s in the vehicle. Please note; if an item/s are picked-up from Olsen Furniture they are non-refundable or exchangeable.
UPHOLSTERED FURNITURE
is warranted under the conditions of normal usage for one year from date of delivery excluding fabrics. Repairs of any such defects in workmanship and/or material excluding fabric will be made without charge to the original purchaser during the warranty period. Repair will be made at the stores option at no charge to the customer during this period. Upholstery does not have any warranty for suitability of use, color fastness, hard or normal usage or durability.
WOOD FURNITURE
is warranted under conditions of normal usage for one year from date of delivery. Repairs of any such defects in workmanship and/or material will be made without charge to the original purchaser during the warranty period.
LENGTH OF STORAGE
90 days maximum. A storage fee will be charged after 90 days at our current rates. The current rate as of 8/18/2011 is $65.00 a month. *Rates may change without notice.
SPECIAL ORDERS
Please give careful consideration when making your selection. There will be no cancellation/refunds accepted on special orders. This merchandise is ordered according to your exact instructions and may not be right for other customers. We will attempt to “estimate” the date of arrival of your order. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to items out of stock and various manufacturing and shipping problems beyond our control. Olsen Furniture does order items in a prompt fashion, again we cannot be held responsible for circumstances that are beyond our control. The average time frame is roughly 6-10 weeks. Some items can take up to 6 months, and you would be notified of such an item.
FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW
There may be variance in color in wood finishes and upholstery which is beyond our control. Velvets will shade and cushions can wrinkle. The store will make every reasonable effort to insure satisfaction. After a period of one year form date of delivery, our service department will gladly order parts and make repairs as required subject, of course to availability. Charges for parts and service will be billed to the owner at the prevailing rate.
SECURITY INTEREST: We will retain a purchase money security interest under the commercial Code in any goods sold under this agreement until full payment for the goods has been made.
ATTORNEY’S FEES AND COSTS: If you have not made payments as required and your account is sent for collection to an attorney who is not our salaried employee, we may be awarded reasonable attorney’s fees as permitted by law, plus allowable court costs. Venue for legal action will be in Mason County.
REPOSSESSION: We have the right to repossess upon default of monthly payments and/or when all effort to collect has failed. Any part of this agreement contrary to current laws of this state shall not invalidate any other parts of this agreement.
